The Summer workshop is for families and adults that have an interest in building and learning about robots. The class will be 6 weeks long and will meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  The VEX robotics kit will be used to build a SquareBot radio controlled robotic base.  The base is made of metal parts, gears, motors and computer system.  The computer system is operated by radio control.  Young members must have a parent to help and supervise them.  Hand tools and detailed instructions are used to construct the base.  Battery powered motors are used and required high energy batteries and charging systems.
